　　DF is the abbreviation of dry suspension agent formulation. In the 1980s, DuPont company of the United States first launched a dry suspension pesticide formulation. According to the latest "GB / t19378-2017 pesticide formulation name and code", DF is classified into the scope of WDG WG. DF is prepared by wet grinding and high tower spray drying. The appearance is loose and mobile solid particles, and the microscopic morphology is hollow spherical particles. It is considered as a product of spray granulation for WDG water dispersible granules.

　　1. Advantages and disadvantages of DF

　　Since 2010, China's pesticide formulation engineers have started the technical research on dry suspension concentrate. It can be said that the appearance of dry SC products has brought the WDG into the 2.0 era. In addition, the advantages of dry agent formulation and suspension technology in the past 10 years can be solved through the formulation selection of dry agent and suspension agent in fluidized bed technology.

　　DF adopts wet grinding, the production environment is clean, and there is no dust pollution; DF products disperse well into water, so it also has a high suspension rate; because the grinding particle size is smaller than the traditional solid dosage forms WDG and WP, the dispersion on the target surface is more uniform, the coverage is higher, and the protection effect is strong; DF products have better barrel mixing compatibility, which changes the shortcomings of traditional solid preparations that are not suitable for flight prevention application scenarios.

　　The application of continuous fluidized bed granulation process represents the new development direction of DF in the future, and the performance improvement of DF dry suspension agent products is also very obvious. The corresponding equipment technology and formulation technology has changed significantly compared with the traditional high tower spray granulation DF. 　　The size, strength, morphology, bulk density and porosity of the particles are obviously different with different granulation methods. These differences can be selected according to different pesticide active ingredients and application scenarios, which can make pesticide preparation products play a greater advantage in their specific application scenarios. The solid pellets in the continuous fluidized bed process not only retain the excellent performance of water injection, but also solve the shortcomings of poor wettability and easy agglomeration of particles. It improves the particle size and particle strength while avoiding the defects of poor water disintegration caused by extrusion granulation.

　　The continuous fluidized bed granulation process has low equipment and small floor area; the drying inlet air temperature of the process is low, which can adapt to the preparation of more low melting point technical products; due to the low drying temperature, the cost of formula additives can be reduced correspondingly; the loose solid spherical particles are formed by granulation, with larger particles, higher strength, less powder and improved wear resistance. The capillary effect can improve the wettability of the particles, and it is not easy to agglomerate into water. Moreover, it maintained the advantages of spray atomization and spray dispersing.
